Since this shamisen has a specially designed microphone installed within the body of an authentic shamisen, it amplifies the sound of the acoustic shamisen faithfully.
When you unplug the microphone cord, it can be used as a high quality acoustic shamisen.
It connect to any effector and create your own sound.
The shamisen is a plucked stringed instrument.
However the body resembles a drum, having a hollow body that is taut front and back with skin, in the manner of a banjo.
